Thanksgiving is tomorrow and we thought the perfect way to celebrate would be to put together a list of all the things we’re thankful for here at HAKS!
1.Husam Ahmad, PE, Chairman and CEO: “HAKS is extremely thankful to all its customers for giving us an opportunity to serve them during 2017. Happy Thanksgiving!”
2.Paul Hoffmann, SVP Special Inspections and Material Testing Department: “Friends, family, my dog Finnegan and great sushi!”
3.Wioleta Zieja, Senior Billing Specialist, Admin Department: “I am thankful for my daughter. She is super awesome and I am blessed to be her mommy!”
4.Neris D’Oleo, Administrative Assistant, Admin Department: “I am thankful for the challenges in my life that made me wiser, stronger and taught me to never give up, and most of all, for my son Liam, who taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.”
5.Barry L. Dawson, Quality Manager, Quality Control: “I am a bit older than most HAKS employees, so my list could be very long. However, I can sum it up by saying that all the things that I am thankful for are included in these three: my faith, which all other things are built upon; my family, who is my rock; and HAKS, for allowing me the opportunity to finish my career on top.”
6.Douglas McNevin, PE, CCM, VP, Construction Management: “I am thankful for the opportunity to be a part of the HAKS team. As construction managers, we are an integral part of projects that help to improve neighborhoods and assist agencies deliver their services. It is personally very gratifying to look at a completed building that I helped make happen, and to see it benefiting the community.”
7.Theresa Malone, Administrative Assistant, Admin Department: “I am thankful for the gift of ordinary days—days in which my family and I have the gifts of good health, mobility, great friends, nourishing food, and a safe and warm place to live.
8.Randi Aronson, Editorial Manager, Marketing Department: “I am thankful to have obtained a position as Technical Writer in my first interview in 26 years and then given the opportunity to advance in the Marketing Department.”
9.Camille Perez, Proposal Coordinator and Tiffany Carrington, Marketing Assistant, Marketing Department: “We are grateful for the awesome people at HAKS—colleagues who’ve become friends, and friends who’ve become family.”
10.Gizelle Vargas, Receptionist, Admin Department: “I’m thankful for the family and friends in my life, as well as the fact that I’m able to see another day and how far I’ve come this past year.”
11. Valentyna Hlushak, Senior Marketing/BD Coordinator, Environmental Services: “I am grateful that life gave me an opportunity to meet wonderful people here at HAKS. Some of them became my mentors and some of them my dearest friends. This holiday season, I wish all HAKS employees blessings. May great things come their way!”
