Is there a project, innovation, technology, issue, or anything else that you would like to share with HAKS and others in the industry at large? As HAKS’ professionals go about their project work and spread the company brand at conferences, exhibits, trade shows, engineering fairs, cultural celebrations, and other industry events, we are capturing these occasions on our social media sites—Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram—through our new #InnovateChange social media campaign. But we can’t do it without you. We need your input, feedback, conversations, content, and updates to make the campaign a success!
We thought that the #InnovateChange campaign, which went live on August 9, would be a great way to achieve our digital goals for 2017 and beyond. It enables HAKS to define a specific moment with a unique hashtag each time we share news or industry insight from our professionals. By creating a hashtag that speaks to our company’s core beliefs and mission statement, we hope that HAKS will cultivate meaningful conversations in the AEC community.
“By this time next year, I would like to see HAKS as a recognized player in social content in the AEC industry,” says Stephen Saulpaugh, HAKS’ Digital Media Specialist. “There is a real opportunity for HAKS to lead the way and set an example for other firms to follow. By implementing emerging strategies such as Facebook Live over the next year, I hope and expect to see our brand grow significantly.”
Facebook Live, which allows followers to interact in real time, is part of the emerging trend in social media that emphasizes video content. Both Twitter and Instagram feature live video options as well. HAKS is cognizant of these trends, and we are changing our approach to social media to adapt to this new development and others that might follow, such as virtual and augmented reality.
We need your help to implement our new and expanded social media presence going forward. Engage with us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to share innovative achievements in the AEC industry using the hashtag #InnovateChange. It can be a video, photo, or an original creation. We can’t wait to hear from you!
